The Regimental Museum at Fort George needs your help! YOU can help by individual donations to the fund.  All monies will be gratefully received in an effort to keep the Museum open full time with paid staff.  YOU can help, dig deep for a donation, or raise funds at you next event/dance etc.  Contact the Curator at Fort George for more Information!

AGM 2006

Was held in Nairn on Friday 23th June

The large scale event of 2001 was the Presentation of New Colours to our parent regiment "The Highlanders" in Edinburgh.   This was  carried out by HRH The Duke Of Edinburgh and HRH The Prince Charles, Deputy Colonel in Chief. This took place on the 6th July 2001 click the above link for full details and pictures.

 

On Thursday 5th July 2001 there was a Massed Beating of Retreat by the 1st Bn The Highlanders, Queen’s Own Highlanders, Gordon Highlanders, Liverpool & the London Scottish Regimental Association Pipe Bands. Redford Barracks was the venue at 1830hrs.  This event was considered “Informal” and not in full ceremonial dress. There was also a Battalion Highland Games on Sunday 7th July 2001, all were made most welcome. Click the links for a full update of these events which took place last year.
